Washington
Both the Pasco and Ellensburg plants have been processing 100% grade A corn since the harvest began, starting on July 26 in Pasco and July 31 in Ellensburg. Temperatures in the area have remained consistently high, ranging from 95 to 100 degrees. We are harvesting in the Pasco area to supply the Pasco plant and in George, WA, to supply the Ellensburg plant. As weather and field conditions change, we can adjust corn processing between the plants to ensure the highest quality product at its peak.
Michigan
The green bean harvest for the week of July 28th was exceptional. Although the weather was somewhat hot, the green bean crops were excellent, with 99% of the beans we processed last week being grade A or better. The green bean yields were slightly above average, which is good considering the reduced number of planted acres this season due to the unusually wet July we experienced.
